Responder Training Enterprises (RTE) began offering Propane Response training in the early 1990s. The owner and lead instructor, Ron Huffman, joined the fire service in the mid-1980s and has over 38 years of experience in the field. In 1986, he also entered the propane industry, where he spent the next 14 years gaining extensive knowledge about building and servicing propane trucks, as well as working with various types of propane systems. His hands-on experience provides practical and applicable knowledge for responding to today's incidents.

In addition to onsite training, RTE offers a wide range of equipment options. The equipment we build is used both in emergency response and within the propane industry for routine service. RTE has recently expanded its equipment offerings to include a unique Compressed Natural Gas Kit, along with several custom propane training props.
